ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS RITUALS HELD TO  INVOKE BLESSINGS ON FORTHCOMING CORPS DAY SLAC

As the last in the series of religious events, Islamic religious observances were conducted in view of the forthcoming 67th Anniversary and Corps Day commemoration of Sri Lanka Armoured Corps at the Jummah Mosque, Mutwal on Thursday 08 December 2022 with the participation of Brigadier P N Wijesiriwardena RSP USP, Centre Commandant SLAC together with other Senior Officers/Officers and Other Ranks.

Special prayers and sermons were conducted during the ceremony by the Imam Chief Priest Rizwan together with a few other Maulvis in keeping with Islamic traditions. Towards the end of the religious ceremony mementoes were presented to the Mosque and the Maulvis as a gesture of good will.
